It is a temple situated in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley which is a popular Himalayan Buddhist sacred site lies in Bhutan. This place where it is said Guru Padmasambhava meditated for 3 years, 3 weeks , 3 days, and 3 hours in the 8th century. Guru Padmasambhava sanctified Bhutan when evil spirits abounded and harmed people.Guru flew this site on a tigeress’ back to subdue a local demon. So he meditated here for three months. In this area the monastery buildings are built into the rock face and the rock slopes are very steep. There is mainly consists of four main temples and there is also a group of residential shelters designed by adapting to the rocks, the caves and the rocky terrain. Painting can also be found on the walls of the monastery. The main things in this temple is that it is only accessible by mountainous path.
